Introduction

Welcome!

 

The 2022-23 school will be my 16th year of teaching, my 2nd year at GTC.  Most of that time has been spent teaching in Technology or Computer-related subjects.  Before entering education, I received training in and worked in the information technology field.  I am married to Jen, who is a teacher at Chuckey-Doak Middle School and we live with Hershey Belle, our Chocolate Lab.   

 

The goal of each subject in the Information Technology pathways is to make each student ready to enter a career in his or her chosen path after graduation or entry into a IT field of study in college or trade school.  Along with the opportunity to receive CompTIA industrial certifications, students also a dual credit option with the Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Morristown (TCAT) .
